제목 Thermal Analysis of Coating Layers with Nano-sized Silicon Oxides on Steel Plate Formed by Dipping Process
초록 Thermal analysis of coating materials with nano-sized silicon oxides was carried to find an optimum coating process.  Coating on 45x45 mm mild steels by dipping and drying at 200 and 500℃ for 1 hour were carried out sequentially. Three-times coating process produced the coated layer with 0.022, 0.038 and 0.054 mm thick. Foaming was not observed on the layer with less than about 55 μm thick. Chromium oxide as additive reduced the foaming, which was related to glassification of the coating materials.
