Recent researched piezoelectric sensors have considerable interests in the properties of flexible, transparent, wearable and multifunctional sensor. But there are many drawbacks to realizing above properties by utilizing solid conducting materials. In this study, the microfluidic system with flexible elastomer substrate is applied on piezoelectric sensor. Microfluidic channel filled with ionic liquids (ILs) as conducting material shows distinct current changes without striking hysteresis for various geometric deformations. Also the liquid type conducting material can offer high transparency on fabricated devices. From these attributes, our research confirmed that microfluidic system combined with ILs has the possibility of realizing highly sensitive, transparent and wearable motion detecting sensor. |
