제목 Effects of crosslinking agent and initiator content on the characteristics of emulsion polymerized toner particles
초록 Polymerized toners can overcome the problems of pulverized toners and make high speed and high quality color laser printing possible. To obtain high performance polymerized toners optimization of contents of molecular weight distribution is essential. In this study, the effects of crosslinking agent as well as initiator content on the characteristics of styrene based emulsion polymerized toner particles were investigated by conducting experiments. Quantity of crosslinking agent and initiator affected largely the durability of polymerized toner particles and APS and A-DOD were used as an initiator and a crosslinking agent respectively. The effects of the concentration of the crosslinking agents and initiator on the characteristics of toner particles were elucidated by observing the melt viscosity and print quality.
