제목 Study on the thermal and mechanical properties of Carbon black filled Natural Rubber with Different aging Temperature
초록 Natural rubber has been used in various fields such as adhesive, insulating, and footwear. Carbon black is mainly used as a reinforcing filler in tires and other rubber products. The natural rubber which is reinforced by carbon black leads to increase of the mechanical properties, i.e. elastic modulus and tensile strength, as well as a sharp increase of the hysteresis. In this study, the thermal and mechanical properties of carbon black filled natural rubber (NR) at various aging temperature were investigated. The changes of thermal and mechanical properties were measured as a function of temperature and the relationship was examined. TGA was used to measure the thermal decomposition and to predict of the carbon black content. And DMA and Tensile test were used to measure the changes of mechanical properties such as tensile strength and tan delta. The tensile strength was decreased with increasing aging temperature.
