제목 The Study on Preparation and Physical Properties of Waterborne Polyurethane/Clay nanocomposites
초록 Waterborne polyurethane/clay nanocomposites were prepared by in-situ polymerization from poly-hexamethylene carbonate glycol (PHMCG) as soft segment and isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI), dimethylol propionic acid (DMPA) as hard segment. Three types of clay used in this study were C15A, C30B and PM from Southern Clay Product. Inc. The effects of clay types and contents in mechanical and thermal properties of these nanocomposites were examined by tensile tests and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), respectively. Also, optical transparency of these nanocomposites was observed compared with neat polyurethane.
