제목 | Synthesis and Characterization of a Random PEDOT Derivative for Organic Electrodes |
초록 | With increasing portable and wearable electronics market such as smart TV and tablet, flexible electrode has been an issue for flexible display becoming commercialization. Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) is an excellent conducting material for an electrode due to its good conductivity and transparency. However, it is insoluble in organic solvents. Therefore, it is dispersed into water with poly(styrenesulfonate) for solution process. Its hydrophilic property is not matched with hydrophobic polymer substrates leading to poor contact. In this study, a random PEDOT derivative consisting of thiophene and EDOT was synthesized by oxidative polymerization. For the solubility in organic solvents, linear alkyl side chain was introduced to EDOT. The polymer had good solubility in organic solvents, low sheet resistance and good transparent property. |
