Recently, the late transition metal catalysts for olefin polymerization have gained much attention because of their potential to yield polymers with different microstructures. We synthesized kinds of pyridyl-diimine, which is based on study of Brookhart and Gibson groups, having a pendant ketone group on the ligand. At this ketone group many kinds of amine can be attatched and they form interest system. So it checkd by various analytical and spectroscopic techniques(FT-NMR, FT-IR). And they will be used for ethylene polymerization in the presence of cocatalyst like methyl aluminoxane (MAO), and ethyl aluminium sesquichloride (EAS). |
