Truxene-Based Hole Transporting Materials for Pervoskite Solar Cells |

Perovskite solar cells (PVSCs) made from ammonium lead halide compounds such as CH3NH3PbI3 have attracted a lot of attention recently because they can achieve high power conversion efficiencies. Apart from the pervoskite active layers PVSCs consist of charge-transporting of an organic/ inorganic electron transport layer (ETL) and hole transport layer (HTL) to facilitate easy separation and collection of excitons. The efficiency of PVSCs depends on the efficient percolation of desired charged carriers through the above layers. In this presentation we discuss about our recent synthesis and application of truxene-based hole transporting materials to improve the efficiency and stability of the devices of perovskite solar cells and to probe structure-property correlations. |
