제목 | A study of structural photophysical property relationship of Indolizine as an new color-tunable Fluorophore |
초록 | Small fluorescent molecule is an indispensable versatile chemical tool in chemical biology. Indolizine, an N-fused aromatic bicyclic 10π conjugated planar structure, have been found to exhibit fluorescence phenomena. Due to its special electronic structure, Indolizine have also been investigated for their suitability as dyes for dye sensitized solar cell (DSSC) or organic light emitting devices(OLEDs), owing to their appreciable photophysical properties. We designed the indolizine fluorophore library in combinatorial fashion along with various substituents. To investigate the effect of electronic nature of the substituent on photophysical properties of indolizine core, C-1, C-3 and C-7 position of the core was modified with 5 different substituents having very different electronic density. We found the substituents have effects on absorption and excitation wavelength, extinction coefficient, and quantum yield of the core. |
