제목 Carbon black and cross-linked epoxy polymer composite representing dual functions of conductive corrosion protective layer and catalytic layer
초록 Pt-coated fluorine-doped tin oxide is typically used as the CE. Unfortunately, Pt-coated CE is typically produced through high-temperature processes and Pt corrodes in electrolytes. In this respect, Stainless steel counter electrodes coated with carbon black and a 3D network epoxy polymer composite were developed. A two-step spray pyrolysis process was used to apply a solution containing epoxy monomers and a hardener containing 6 wt% CB to a SS substrate, which formed a conductive corrosion protective layer. Subsequently, an 86 wt% CB was applied to form a catalytic layer. The excellent catalytic, corrosion protective and adhesive properties of the carbon back and 3D network epoxy polymer composites yielded highly stable and efficient counter electrodes that could replace fluorine-doped tin oxide with CCPL/SS and Pt/FTO with CL/CCPL/SS in dye-sensitized solar cells. This approach provides a promising approach to the development of efficient, stable, and cheap solar cells.
