제목 Mechanical and thermal Property of Urethane Modified Polyester/clay Coatings
초록 Polyester has been used in industrial areas due to its good formability. Inorganic materials are studied on improving tensile strength or hardness. In this study, polyesters synthesized with adipic acid (AA), 1,6-hexanediol (HD) and 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM). Urethane modified polyester was synthesized with isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) and polycarbonate diol (PCDL) with good flexibility. Clay was added into urethane modified polyester as an inorganic material. The mechanical properties were measured by Universal Testing Machine (UTM). Also, the thermal property was measured by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC).
