Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have been interested because of their application. Such as gas storage, gas separation, catalysis, sensor and drug delivery. In this study, A Zn(Ⅱ) based metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), [Zn(BETC)(ATA)] MOFs (Zn-MOF; BETC = 1,2,4,5-Benzenetetracarboxylate and ATA = 2-Aminoterephthalic acid) is successfully synthesized via one step hydrothermal process. Zn-MOFs have crystal structure with extended 3D networks of Zinc clusters connected through organic spacers. Zn-MOFs exhibit very stable and strong blue fluorescence. Also, they have carboxylic (-COOH) and amine (-NH2) functional groups on the surface. So it shows negative charge. It can be characterized by using Transmission electron microscope (TEM), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction spectrometry(XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and Zeta potential (δ). Addition Zn-MOFs activity as photocatalysts with hydrogen evolution and CO2 reduction. |
