제목 A thermostable Polyvinylidene fluoride/Polyethylene glycol/silicon dioxide composite non-woven mats as energy storage material
초록 This study focuses on the preparation and determination of thermal properties of PVDF/PEG/silicon dioxide (SiO2) composite non-woven mats. In this material, the PEG acted as the latent heat storage material and PVDF served as the supporting material. The morphology of composite e-spun fibers remained after heating at 80 oC for 1 day that was observed by FE-SEM. This result proved the role of silicon dioxide to keep the structure of e-spun fiber at high temperature. Thermal properties and thermal stability of non-woven mat were determined using DSC. The melting and freezing temperatures and the latent heats of the PVDF/PEG/SiO2 composite non-woven mats were measured as 38.63 and 24.75 oC, 59.2 and 55.4 J/g, respectively. Moreover, there was no significant temperature or enthalpy change observed after 100 thermal cycling. The SiO2 incorporated PVDF/PEG non-woven mat showed high mechanical strength that is suitable for various applications in energy storage and thermal-regulating textile.
