제목 Sensing Intracellular behavior of ultrasmall, paramagnetic iron oxide-conjugated PEI/DNA polyplex by T2 Magnetic Relaxation Switch of Magnetic Resonance Imaging
초록 Magnetic resonance (MR) imaging is a powerful tool for non-invasive monitoring due to its high resolution and use of non-ionizing radiation. The low innate contrast of biological molecules can be enhanced through contrast agents. Ultrasmall, superparamagnetic iron oxide (USPIO) have been widely investigated as T2 relaxivity MR constrast agents. These nanoparticles have been incorporated into drug delivery systems such as polymeric micelles and baculovirus for tracking in vitro and vivo. Here, we present the development of a novel hybrid nanoparticle formulation that integrates gene delivery with magnetic resonance contrast properties that are sensitive to the packaging state of the vectors.
