제목 Insertion of cathode interfacial layers for highly efficient both conventional and inverted organic solar cells
초록 Cathode interfacial materials (CIMs), Br PO-TAZ and CN PO-TAZ were introduced between photoactive layer; PTB7:PC71BM and cathode, Al as electron extraction layer for the conventional solar cells, and between the ZnO and photoactive layer, PTB7:PC71BM for the inverted organic solar cells. The CIMs significantly improved the device performance for both conventional and inverted OSCs with suppression of charge recombination and facilitation of charge extraction. CIMs exhibited a significant enhancement in their PCE (~8.19% for conventional OSCs and 8.33% for inverted OSCs) and also served as an internal shield against humidity for the inverted device, which helps for boosting device stability as well.
