Electrochemical Behaviors of Polymeric Composite Electrolytes Containing Binary Cation Salt Species |
초록 |
Ion conducting polymer electrolytes have been attracting interest as safer alternatives to liquid electrolytes and are candidates for use in a variety of all solid state electrochemical power devices. A solid polymer electrolyte serves as both a separator to prevent electrodes from coming into physical contact, and as ionic conductor. Poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO)-based electrolytes have been studied because of structure showing fast ion transport. In this study, the composite electrolytes based on PEO and binary supporting electrolyte salts were prepared. The ionic conductivity was enhanced with increasing contents of additional salts due to the enhanced ion transport and the decreased crystallinity of PEO. The effect of binary cation salt species on the ion conducting behaviors and the structural properties were also discussed. Ion conductivity of composite polymer electrolytes showed a strong dependence on the contents of binary cation species. |
