제목 Preparation of carbonaceous filler material from natural resources and application to polypropylene composites with improved mechanical and thermal properties
초록 Polypropylene is one of the massively produced polymers and its application has broadened the are due to relatively excellent mechanical properties, facile processability and fine chemical stability. Furthermore, the mechanical properties of polypropylene can be tuned by incorporation of various materials like carbon fiber, glass fiber, talc etc.. Nowadays, the incorporation of nanomaterials like carbon nanotube and graphene have been studied by many researchers because the nanomaterials which have large specific surface area could contribute to the enhancement of mechanical properties of polypropylene with smaller loading amount than current materials. In this research, new filler material prepared from natural resources was developed and characterized. And the enhancement of mechanical properties and thermal stability by adoption of this newly developed filler was confirmed with a series of PP composites.
