제목 The synthesis and characterization of the red cyanine dyes for the color filter in ultra-high resolution displays
초록 For ultra-high resolution display such as augmented reality display, relatively low temperature below 100℃ can be applied to baking process of color filter, giving opportunity to develop novel dyes with proper stability. Therefore, we synthesized red cyanine dyes through the introduction of substituents and counter anions for the color filter. Furthermore, their absorption property, heat/light stability and solubility in industrial solvent were examined to evaluate the dyes for dye-based color filter. The synthesized dye showed superior absorption property, and exhibited improved stability and solubility due to the introduced bulky functional group and counter anion. In addition, the color filter was prepared based on the synthesized dye and its characteristics were investigated. From the results, we could expect the realization of ultra-high resolution based on the synthesized dye.​
