제목 Selective production of liquid-range (C5-C20) hydrocarbons from syngas using bifunctional Fe-ZSM-5 catalysts activated by CO2-containing syngas​
초록 Low-temperature Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (LT-FTS: 200−280 °C) is known as a process that produces waxes with a wide distribution of C5+hydrocarbons from syngas (CO + H2). The use bifunctional catalysts that consist of LT-FTS and acidic catalysts is one of possible ways to overcome this drawback. However, the working temperature of LT-FTS catalysts is incompatible with zeolites (≥450 °C). In this study, the precipitated-iron catalysts (P-Fe) and ZSM-5 (Si/Al: 40) were physically mixed. It was found that P-Fe catalysts activated by CO2-containing syngas favor C19+ hydrocarbons. Therefore, syngas and CO2-containing syngas activation were performed at various reaction temperatures. The highest C5-C20 was 78 wt% obtained at 275 °C using P-Fe/ZSM-5 activated by CO2-containing syngas.
