Nano-sized ε-type copper phthalocyanine (ε-CuPc) has been used as color filter material of liquid crystal display (LCD).It has a reddish hue, a high clearness and a high tinting strength as compared with other crystal form of CuPc. The mass production of nano-sized ε-CuPc is difficult because it is required to control precisely several factors such as synthetic temperature and time, shear force, solvent, and the addition of suitable derivatives.In this study, ε-CuPc crude was synthesized by seed process, and then it grounded up to nano scale in various solvent with addition of various dispersion derivatives through ball-milling. |
