제목 Self-Assembly of Bio-inspired Molecules for Guided Vascular Network Construction
초록 Molecular self-assembly has been attracting great interest in the fields of chemical biology and material science because of its potential to build nanostructured materials with advanced properties and performance. Therefore, my research is currently focused on developing biomaterial design strategies that will support diagnosis, repair or regeneration of blood vessels for treatments of wounds and tissue defects. This presentation covers the latest works in self-assembly with bio-inspired molecules for neovascularization and further in vivo clinical applications. Specifically, the talk will highlight the study of in situ self-assembly of bioactive hyperbranched molecules that can noninvasively associate with stem cells and further guide them to target sites. In addition, the study of a ‘living’ microvascular stamp that releases multiple angiogenic factors and subsequently creates neovessels with the same pattern as that engraved in the stamp will be discussed also in this talk.
