제목 Graphene oxide decorated wire mesh as a janus membrane for continuous oil water separation
초록 With a rampant discharge of oil wastewater from industrial and domestic sources, as well as the frequent oil spills embarked a severe environmental impact. With the goal to address this dilemma, oil water separation technology has attracted great attention. One of these resolutions is constant oil water separation with janus surface properties which has frequently conveyed. With the aim to design a facile continuous oil water phase separation, a mesh decorated with graphene oxide were fabricated by direct electro deposition. The janus mesh architecture were designed by taking advantage on the hydrophilic properties of graphene oxide with hydrophobic properties on the other side. The designed decorated mesh is scrutinized in different oil water emulsion conditions to test its asymmetric wettability properties to demonstrate the switchable oil water parting performance and efficiency.
