Organogels can be defined as thermally reversible viscoelastic materials comprised of an organic liquid and low molecular mass organogelators. We were synthesized organogels formed from novel low molecular mass organogelators containing a cholesterol gelators with triazine moiety and its gelation property was evaluated. It was confirmed that organogelators was an effective gelator for various organic solvents and could self-assemble into network fibers conformation in some organic solvents through a cooperative effect of the hydrogen-bonding, and van der Waals forces. The network structures were confirmed by AFM, SEM, TEM and intermolecular interactions and the other characters of organogels was confirmed by UV-vis, FT-IR, and 1H NMR and X-ray diffraction. |
