Research Works on POPs Contamination in Vietnam |

The awareness on POPs in Vietnam is very new, that is why misuses and in-appropriate disposal of DDT and PCBs have been very often occurred so far. Anyway the researches on pesticides in general and DDT in particular and PCBs in Vietnam have been carried out so far by local and international scientists. These researches have been focused onthe levels of contamination in soil, surface water and sea water as well as in human (milk).The paper is also addressed on some application of technologies for decontamination of DDT and PCBs contaminated sites in Vietnam. These technology application has not been verified in the point of view of safety. |
