Porous carbons from polymeric precursor by steam activation methods for electrode materials of supercapacitors |
| 초록 |
Porous carbons were prepared from polymeric precursor using steam activation methods with activation time and temperature. The surface and structural characteristics of porous carbons were observed by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction, respectively. Pore characteristics were investigated by N2/77K adsorption isotherms. From the results, it was found that specific surface area and pore volumes were enhanced with increasing activation time and temperature. However, it was observed that a significant hysteresis curve was found in severely activated samples, indicating that the steam activation method could cause lots of pot-like pores in the carbon. |
