Preparation and Characterization of Microporous Carbon Synthesized by Cellulose Fibers |

In this work, we have investigated a simple and effective physical activation method to prepare microporous carbon using cellulose fibers as a carbon source. And the activation protocol of the microporous carbon was carried out with carbonization temperatures and steam amounts. The yield of the microporous carbon was confirmed based on TGA. The micro-structural properties were observed by XRD. The textural properties were proved by nitrogen/vapor sorption analysis. From the results, it was found that the carbonization temperatures had considerably influenced on the textural and structural properties of microporous carbon. |
