제목 Pore coarsening mechanism inside the FeOOH nanorods simulated by phase-field modelling
초록 Mesoporous magnetite nanorods are one of the attractive nanomaterial for using in various research fields such as catalysts, energy storage, and biological application. Here, magnetic nanorods containing one-dimensionally ordered mesocages are synthesized by using template-free method under a temperature and process time-dependent reducing protocol. A plausible formation mechanism of unique ordered mesocage nanostructures was proposed. To reduce thesurface area dissolution and recrystallization was proceeded to minimize surface binding energy. The computer simulation using phase-field model of Cahn-Hilliard equation, describes the mechanism of pore migration and coarsening. Here the dissolution and recrystallization proceeded to reduce surface binding energy of FeOOH. Furthermore, the as-prepared mesocage Fe3O4 nanorods showed excellent electrochemical properties, which could be used as a catalyst for next-generation energy related applications.
