제목 | Increasing Sodium Storage by Synthesizing a Composite with Both Electrochemical Active Species Based on Iron fluoride and Reduced Graphene Oxide |
초록 | In order to satisfy the growing level of energy consumption, high-performance rechargeable batteries are urgently required with cost and availability merits. The cost and safety matters when consumption of material is high, especially for large-scale application. For the reason, sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) have recently emerged as a potential candidate for large-scale applications such as grid storage. However, the development of cathode materials in SIBs is quite challenging to compete the LIBs as reduction potential of sodium is lower than lithium. Here, we investigated iron fluoride and reduced graphene oxide as cathode materials for SIBs. Both the electrode materials were found to be electrochemical active to store sodium ions reversibly. The nanocomposites were synthesized with both the materials and an optimized composition was selected. The details will be discussed at the meeting. |
