제목 The preparation and characterization of nonspherical microspheres by seeded polymerization
초록 Nonspherical polymeric microspheres were produced by the seeded polymerization of semi-interpenetrating polymer network (semi-IPN) polystyrene (PS) seed particle. The crosslinking density of seed particles and swelling ratio of second monomer were controlled to achieve the symmetrical structure of doublet particles during swelling process. The obtained structure of nonspherical microspheres was due to monomer-polymer phase separation. This process was monitored utilizing an optical microscope (OM) and morphology of particles was confirmed by scanning electron microscope (SEM).
