제목 Design and Synthesis of Lutidine-Functionalized Polyisoprenes
초록  Difunctional polyisoprenes with various molecular weight could be synthesized in quantitative yields initiated by using the adduct of 2,6-lutidine and sec-butyllithium as the initiator via living anionic polymerization followed by termination with methanol. Polymerization phenomena and the stability of lutidine anion was investigated. The expected structure of polyisoprenes initiated by lutidine was characterized by 1H NMR spectroscopy, GPC and UV/Vis spectroscopy. All experimental evidences showed the consistency with quantitative functionality when the anionic living polymerization proceeded using 2,6-lutidine/s-BuLi as the initiator.
