제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Urea Containing Periodic MesoporousOrganosilicas from Piperazine.
초록 We have synthesized a new organosilane precursor having the co-existence of diurea and piperazine. A series of periodic mesoporous organosilica has been synthesized using the newly synthesized organosilane in combination with TEOS (Tetraethylorthosilicate. The successful synthesis of the PDPMO(Periodic Mesoporous Organosilica) materials were confirmed by N2-sorption and TEM analyses. FT-IR spectra of the solvent extracted samples of PDPMOs confirmed the existence of organosilane bridged moieties in the bulk of the PDPMO materials. From the N2-sorption study It is found that the specific surface area, pore volume and pore diameter decreasing while increasing the organosilane loading. It is found that the PDPMO materials can be used as an effective drug system. A study on the release behavior of captopril molecule over PDPMOs found that the efficiency of controlled release of drug increases while increasing the piperazine derived organosilane loading.
