Effect of direct fluorination on the preparation of cellulose fibers and carbonization yield |
초록 |
Nowadays, biomass has been recognized as a sustainable renewable energy source due to the depletion of fossil fuels. Cellulose is one of the most influential organic polymer earth and carbon precursor. However, cellulose has a low carbonization yield due to its low carbon content and thermal stability. Therefore, direct fluorination treatment was performed on cellulose fibers to increase the carbonization yield. The carbonization process was conducted in inert gas at 800℃ for 1h. Texture properties and thermal properties of the fluorinated cellulose fiber were examined through X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). |
