Influence of polyketone for thermal and mechanical properties on epoxy system |

In this paper, we prepared epoxy blends by adding polyketone (PK). The contents of PK were varied from 0 to 4 wt.% and the effects on thermal and mechanical properties of the blends were studied. The thermal stabilities were investigated by using thermogravimetric analyzer, differential scanning calorimeter. The mechanical properties were measured using universal testing machine for fracture toughness and the morphologies were observed by scanning electron microscopy after fracture toughness tests. These findings investigated that PK was reinforced for thermal and mechanical properties on epoxy resin. |
