제목 In situ synthesis of polyurethane microfibers in microfluidic device
초록 We propose a novel method for the generation of uniform polyurethane (PU) microfibers in PDMS based microfluidic device. Long thread of monomer phase could be formed at junction due to the use of sheath flow of immiscible phase. Cylindrical formation of monomer phase could be easily polymerized by UV irradiation in the microchannel. In addition, the size of microfibers could be controlled by important parameter such as flow rate of continuous and dispersed phase, interfacial tension, ranging from 55 to 85 m.
