Hydrogels which have a soft and three-dimensional(3D) structure of polymer network system, have received attention in biomedical fields. Furthermore, the introduction of stimuli-responsive polymers increased applicability in the biomaterial. Recently, it has been known that the sensitivity of drug release can be improved by introducing a hydrophilic polymer chain into a gel network. Accordingly, the CRP method has attracted attention as a polymerization method that can introduce functional polymer chains into a polymer network by graft or block copolymerization. Among them, RAFT polymerization is focused attention as an efficient platform for synthesizing block copolymers having a narrow molecular weight distribution. In this study, PNIPAM was used as a representative temperature-sensitive polymer, and a sulfoxide-based polymer was introduced as a hydrophilic polymer. And then, It was synthesized a block co-polymer through RAFT polymerization and were evaluated applicability potential for drug carrier. |
