제목 Synchrotron-based in situ x-ray absorption studies of electrocatalysts for fuel cell
초록 Under such circumstances, X-ray absorption spectroscopic approaches have emerged as one of the most powerful tools for understanding the surface local structure of new energy nanomaterials. This talk will focus on introducing our ongoing efforts in first principles modeling of energy conversion materials.  In this talk, I will discuss the properties and performance of Pt(or Pd)-based alloy nanomaterials and composites PEMFCs and DMFCs, particularly the dissolution mechanisms of Pt(or Pd)-based alloy nanomaterials near the surface and interface, with comparisons to those in bulk Pt, as well as the surface and interface effects on the anode an cathode performance, such as oxidation/reduction reaction rate and stability.
