| 제목 | Effects of medium components on cultures of Mannheimia succiniciproducens MBEL55E |
| 초록 | Mannheimia succiniciproducens MBEL55E has been known to produce succinic acid as a major end-product from glucose under anaerobic conditions. Although this organism could utilize various carbon sources such as lactose and xylose when yeast extract or polypeptone was supplemented, there are not many researches on the effects of other medium components. Since yeast extract and polypeptone are relatively expensive, we examined the effects of other medium components on the cell growth and succinic acid production. This research shows that succinic acid might be produced economically by M. succiniciproducens MBEL55E using the newly developed optimal medium.
