제목 Selective CO oxidation over supported gold catalysts
초록 The selective CO oxidation in the presence of excess hydrogen was examined over supported gold catalysts to remove a residual CO in hydrogen stream not to deactivate anode of polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (PEMFC). Different gold catalysts such as Au/γ-Al2O3, Au/CuO, Au/CeO2/γ-Al2O3, Au/CuO-CeO2 and Au/CeO2 were compared at the same reaction condition. The transmission electron microscope (TEM) was conducted to calculate particle size of gold. Among tested gold catalyst, Au/CeO2 appeared to be most promising for the preferential CO oxidation.
