제목 | Effect of polymerization conditions on the morphology of nano-sized PPy |
초록 | Polypyrrole is one of the most promising conducting polymers due to its high conductivity and good environmental stability. Especially polypyrrole nano-particles and -fibers are interesting because of their unique properties and applications. Nano-sized polypyrrole was synthesized in the aqueous solution at room temperature with several oxidants such as ferric chloride and ammonium persulfate, using 2-naphtalene sulfonic acid as a dopant. It was investigated that how the morphology of nano-sized polypyrrole was influenced by the polymerization conditions. FT-IR spectrometer and element analysis were used to confirm polymerization of polypyrrole. The morphology of polypyrrole was observed by FE-SEM. |
