Fabrication and Characterization of Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells with Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/Poly(styrenesulfonate) as Counter Electrode |
초록 |
Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells constructed using dye molecules, nanocrystalline metal oxides, organic electrolytes, and Pt counter electrode, have attractive features of high energy conversion efficiency low cost, and simple fabrication process. Traditional counter electrodes in DSSCs are usually made of platinum. Although Pt has high conductivity and stability, it is one of the expensive materials in DSSCs. Because the material cost and fabrication cost of the PEDOT/PSS counter electrode is apparently lower than that of Pt counter electrode, DSSCs device using PEDOT/PSS is applicable to produce a large size CE(counter electrode). The DSSCs were assembled by sandwiching with a polymer electrolyte between a TiO2 layer impregnated N3 dye and a PEDOT/PSS CE. And photovoltaic properties investigated. |
