제목 | Morphology and Mechanical and Rheological Properties of Polyolefin Ternary Blends : Effects of Blending Sequence |
초록 | Isotactic polypropylene(PP) is used in a wide variety of applications because of its easy processibility and good thermal and mechanical properties. However, it has such limitation as toughness and dimensional stability. To improve impact strength at low temperature, PP was blended with various elastomers. In this study, we prepared PP/mPE/HDPE ternary blends in two ways ; In one PP, mPE and HDPE were mixed simultaneously(Method 1), and in the other mPE and HDPE were premixed and then mixed with PP(Method 2). We investigated mechanical, thermal and rheological properties and morphology of PP/mPE/HDPE ternary blends with ultimate tensile machine, differential scanning calorimetry, advanced rheometrics expansion system and so on. |
