제목 | Infulence of the Various Mixture Solvent on the Characteristics of Electrospun Poly(ether imide) (PEI) Non-wovens |
초록 | Poly (ether imide) (PEI) is well known for its high performance engineering thermoplastic material in that it displays good strength, high modulus, rigidity, especially, under long-term heat exposure. Recently, it has increased to be interest in another method of fiber production, electrospinning, that can consistently produce fibers which are sub-micron in diameter. The solvents used in this work were N,N-dimethylforamide(DMF), N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP), Tetrahydrofuran (THF), Methylene chloride (MC), and Chlroform. The morphology of electrospun nonwoven mats was influenced by the mixture solvents. In this work, we have made PEI non-wovens with nano-scaled fiber diameters via electrospinning technique. The morphology and mechanical properties of the electrospun non-woven mats investigated by using scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and universial tensile machine(UTM), respectively. |
