Novel pH-responsive polymeric micelles: A pontential for drug carrier vehicle |
초록 |
Polymeric micelles composed of pH-responsive block copolymers can strengthen the anti-tumor efficiency of a drug by accumulating in the target area. Site-targeted drug delivery system also can be used to achieve enhanced therapeutic effect and minimize the harmful side effect of the drug. In order to give pH sensitivity on the micelle, the amphiphilic block copolymer forming the micelle should be incorporated with a ionizable group. A basic group such as an amine is ionized at various pH below pKb and deionized at various pH above pKb. In this study, We synthesized methoxy poly(ethylene glycol)-poly(ß-amino esters) block copolymers with different molar ratios and various bisacrylate ester by Michael type step polymerization. we have selected Paclitaxel (PTX) as hydrophobic drug because PTX is an important anticancer drug used in clinical practice and exhibits strong cytotoxic activity against a variety of cancer types. |
