제목 | Comparison of thermal, mechanical, and insulation properties of fire-proof fillers/silicon rubber composite contained expandable graphite or vermiculite |
초록 | Flame retardant silicone rubber silicone rubber (SR) composites, using fire-proof fillers as flame retardant have been prepared by a two-roll mill. Moreover, expandable graphite and vermiculite were used as a synergist. In this work, the fire performance of a Mica, Mineral fiber(MF), EG or EV silicone rubber composites were investigated and analyzed for thermal, mechanical, and insulation properties. It was confirmed that EG/SR composites have better fire-proof performance than EV/SR composites through gas torch flame test, thermogravimetric analysis(TGA). MF/SR composite that can be effectively dispersed in silicone rubber shows great mechanical properties through SEM, UTM. Also, It was confirmed that MF,EG/SR composites have better fire-proof performance than MF/SR composites through gas torch flame test.
