제목 Application of Electrical Resistance Method in Characterizing the Slip Length of Single Fiber Composite (SFC)
초록 The tensile property of single carbon fiber accompanied by the relationship between the electric resistance and the strain was tested. Since the collected data showed a linear relationship coefficient of fiber slip length was obtained by the computation. Since SFC specimen's stress was built up to the load of the tilted SFC specimen under tension, the stress distribution was observed via the electrical resistance change. The results demonstrated that the stress was homogeneous in interface. The fiber slip length was used to evaluate the shear stress at the interface. The fiber slip length was correlated with the difference in interfacial shear stress in the SFC system. The minor slip results in the embedded fiber breaks. Electrical resistance and wettability measurements contribute to the SFC's interfacial adhesion results.
