Effect of solution concentration on electrospinning of Poly(vinyl alcohol) |

The solution concentration affects morphology and diameter of nanofiber by electrospinning process. Poly(vinyl alcohol) solutions dissolved in distilled water ware prepared in various weight percent concentrations. The range of Poly(vinyl alcohol) weight percent concentration is from 5 wt% to 20 wt%. The concentration interval is 2.5wt%. Each solution was fabricated PVA nanofiber through electrospinning in constant condition. The morphology and diameter of nanofibers were measured using scanning electron microscope(SEM). Diameter of high concentration was longer then low concentration. Namely diameter of nanofiber increased with rising solution concentration. The morphology of nanofiber was controlled in specific concentration, such as 7.5wt% and 10wt%. |
