PZT nanorods have fabricated by a hydrothermal method, controlling KOH concentration in order to change the length of the nanorods. Via the hydrothermal method, we were realized singcrystal perovskite nanorods. The nanorods obratained is mixed with polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) polymer which enables the harvesting device to have flexibility. A power generation of the PZT-PDMS composite generator were verified from the comparison of output performances. The generator fabricated prodeces a peak voltage of ~2.5 V and current of 200 nA. The piezoelectric nanocomposite technique reported here successfully overcomes the size-related restrictions and enables simple, low-cost, and large-scale stabled generator. These results represent a critical step in the realization of self-powering nanotechnology that harvests electricity such as wireless sensors, implantable devices, personal electronics, MEMS, and so on. |
