제목 Nanoreactor from self-assembly of Y-shape molecules
초록 We have synthesized Y-shape molecules consisting of dendritic parts as hydrophilic flexible segments and hexa-para-phenylenes as rigid segments and docosyl groups.
The amphiphilic molecules were observed to assemble into cage structure in aqueous solution. Dynamic light scattering measerments showed that the radius of the cage appeared to be 146nm.
It has also been demonstrated that manipulation of the cage size in diameter can be possible through the variation of the cross-sectionalarea of the rigid segments.
Cage structure has been used for nanoreactor as carbon-carbon bond-forming reactions in water such as Suzuki reaction.
