The porous Au nanoplates (pAuNPs) were manufactured by reducing-assisted galvanic replacement reaction onto Ag nanoplates by one-pot approach. Two additives, polyvinylpyrrolidone and L-ascorbic acid, played important roles of preventing fragmentation and secondary growth, respectively. By controlling the concentration of additives and replacing ion AuCl4-, we could synthesize various nanostructures including nanoplates with hole, nanoframe, porous nanoplates and bumpy nanoparticles with homogeneity. Prepared pAuNPs exhibited highly efficient photothermal conversion effect and cargo loading on the exposed surface by Au-thiol linkage. Based on the attractive features of pAuNPs, we demonstrated dual cargo mixed loading of hepatitis C virus (HCV) targeting DNAzyme and cell penetrating peptide TAT onto pAuNPs surface, and following gene-thermo treatment against HCV replicon human hepatocarcinoma cells. |
