The 3D printing is known as an additive manufacturing technology and has been received a great attention recently due to a variety of factors such as a wider choice of materials, rapid prototyping and low volume productions. Researchers are focused on the materials including electrically conductive inks, semi-conducting pastes and insulating materials. However, for the 3D-printed electronic components to show an efficient performance, an effective dissipation of heat produced by the electronic components is essential. In this study, we prepared a photocurable epoxy inks with high thermal conductivity for 3D printing application. The thermal conductivity of the composite ink materials was measured to be up to 2.2W/mK depending on the concentration, which is promising as a 3D printing ink. |
